Spirit Airlines: Why you should NEVER fly with them.
Deceptive business practices and unfair consumer contracts (e.g. cell phone cancellation policies) infuriate me to no end. As a consumer, I hate feeling manipulated and helpless. When companies suck, they deserve to hear about it - loud and fucking clear. Spirit was indeed cheaper than JetBlue, but sometimes you definitely get what you paid for. Link to Digg the post.
1 year ago • 3 notesSpirit decided that I wanted the optional travel insurance ($12 per person), and also enrolled both of us in a 3 month Spirit membership “trial offer” which cost $10 per month per person. No wonder the price had magically increased by $40 (kinda like spyware).
